February was one of our biggest months yet - we shipped 15 updates across Jellypod, from a brand-new AI agent workflow, expressive audio prompting, a centralized source library, and much more.

Here's everything that landed in February:

Jellypod Content Agent

The biggest change this month? The AI Podcast Agent. Jellypod is now built around a familiar AI agent chat flow - just describe what you want to create and the Jellypod Agent takes it from there. It researches your topic, writes the script, generates audio, and suggests next steps along the way.

You can ask Jellypod to rewrite sections, change the video template, and publish the episode when you're ready. No more clicking through buttons and pages.

And the same pattern extends beyond podcasts. Chat with Jellypod to draft documents, generate images, or research summaries. Tell Jellypod what you need, review the output, and iterate until it's perfect.

Audio Prompting

Your AI hosts can now laugh, sigh, whisper, pause, and react.

Type / inside any speak block in the script editor to open a dropdown of preset cues - reactions like [laughs] and [gasps], emotions like [excited] and [sarcastic], and delivery cues like [whispers] and [dramatic].

Generated scripts will also occasionally include audio tags automatically to improve the naturalness of your podcasts. Audio prompting only affects what your listeners hear, keeping your captions, transcripts, and visual assets clean.

Iterate to Perfection Without Using Credits

Credits are now only consumed when you publish or download your podcast episode.

Generating drafts or regenerating sections no longer costs anything, so you can tweak your scripts, test different voices, and iterate as much as you like. When you're happy with the final result, we calculate credit usage purely on the final output length. Credits are used when downloading or publishing an episode.

Create Consistent Documents & Images

Jellypod can now create written documents or generate images alongside your podcasts.

For docs, describe what you want to write in the chat, attach your sources for context, and the docs agent will draft it in a live editor right next to the conversation. When you're done, export as Markdown or plain text.

For images, just give it a prompt and an image style, and Jellypod will create an image perfect for any use case. Images are saved directly to your image library.

Use documents and images for promotional blog posts, research summaries, or any content that needs some visual appeal.

Source Library

Every source you upload to Jellypod now lives in a single place. The Source Library gives you a searchable, central view of every file, URL, and YouTube video you've ever used.

When creating something new, you canPick from Source Libraryto pull in sources you've already uploaded - no need to re-upload or hunt through old files. You can also manage sources directly: check processing status, download originals, or clean up what you no longer need.
