Deleting and Transferring Episodes
Permanently remove an episode, or move it to a different podcast in your workspace.
Deleting an Episode#
- Open the episode or find it in the episode list on the podcast page.
- Click the three-dot menu and select Delete Episode.
- Confirm in the dialog that appears.
Deleting an episode permanently removes all its content, audio, video, sources, and timeline data. This cannot be undone. If you want to remove it from public access without losing the content, use Unpublish Episode instead.
Transferring an Episode#
- Open the episode or find it in the episode list on the podcast page.
- Click the three-dot menu and select Transfer Episode.
- Choose the destination podcast from the dropdown and confirm.
The episode moves entirely to the new podcast, including all content, sources, and settings. If it was published, it will be removed from the original podcast's RSS feed and appear under the new one.
Frequently Asked Questions#
Can I recover a deleted episode?
No. Deleting an episode is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep the content but remove it from public access, use Unpublish Episode instead.
Does transferring affect the episode's published status?
The episode keeps all content and settings. A published episode is moved from the original podcast's RSS feed to the new one automatically.
Can I transfer multiple episodes at once?
Episodes are transferred one at a time. Repeat the process for each episode you want to move.
