Importing ElevenLabs Voices
Bring your existing ElevenLabs Professional Voice Clone (PVC) into Jellypod without starting over.
Prerequisites#
- You must have a Professional Voice Clone (PVC) in your ElevenLabs account. Instant Voice Clones (IVCs) are not supported for import.
- Voice Sharing must be enabled on your PVC in ElevenLabs.
How to Import#
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Find the Import PVC from ElevenLabs card.
- Click Import ElevenLabs Voice.
A dialog opens with three numbered steps:
Step 1: Find Your PVC#
Log in to ElevenLabs and find your Professional Voice Clone under My Voices. Confirm it is a PVC, not an Instant Voice Clone.
Step 2: Enable Sharing#
Click the Share icon on your voice in ElevenLabs and turn on Voice Sharing.
Step 3: Paste the Share URL#
Copy the share URL from ElevenLabs and paste it into the ElevenLabs Share URL field in the Jellypod dialog. Optionally, enter a custom name in the Name field.
Click Import PVC to complete the import.
After Importing#
On success, you will see a toast: "Voice imported successfully. Now, create a new host and select your PVC from the Professional Voices tab."
To use the imported voice:
- Create a new host.
- Select Voice Library as the voice type.
- Find your imported PVC in the voice list and select it.
Professional Voice Clones trained on more data offer higher fidelity than instant clones. If you have invested in a PVC on ElevenLabs, importing it means you do not have to recreate it from scratch.
Frequently Asked Questions#
Can I import an Instant Voice Clone from ElevenLabs?
No. Only Professional Voice Clones (PVCs) are supported for import. Instant Voice Clones cannot be imported, but you can create a new voice clone directly in Jellypod instead.
Do I need to keep my ElevenLabs subscription active after importing?
The imported voice is used through Jellypod's infrastructure. Check with your ElevenLabs account terms regarding voice sharing requirements.
