Downloading Video and Audio
Download your episode as a video file, audio file, or SRT caption file for use on any platform.
Downloading from the Episode Editor#
Video and audio downloads are available from the dropdown menu next to the Publish button (or the View Published Episode button for already-published episodes).
- Open an episode in the studio.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to the Publish button group.
- Select Download Video or Download Audio.
A progress toast appears showing the download status. The video renders with your selected template and aspect ratio.
Download Video#
Downloads the episode as an MP4 video file with your chosen template, aspect ratio, and all visual assets. A credit check is performed before rendering. You will be prompted to upgrade if credits are insufficient.
Download Audio#
Downloads the episode audio as a standalone file. This option requires the audio download entitlement based on your subscription plan.
Auto-Download on Publish#
When publishing an episode, you can enable automatic downloading:
- Click Publish Episode to open the publish dialog.
- Check the Automatically download video after publishing checkbox.
- Proceed with publishing. The video will download automatically once rendering completes.
This works for both immediate publishing and scheduled episodes.
SRT Caption Download#
Every published episode includes auto-generated captions that you can download as an SRT file.
- Navigate to a published episode page.
- Click the captions button (a circular icon button with a captions symbol).
- The tooltip reads "Download captions (.srt)".
- The SRT file downloads with the episode title as the filename.
SRT is the standard subtitle format accepted by YouTube, social media platforms, and most video editors. Upload it alongside your video for accessibility and to capture viewers watching on mute.
The SRT download button only appears for episodes that have a captions file generated. If you do not see it, the episode may still be processing.
